Benefits of having material on your own property. 1. You have easy access to the material. 2. You don’t have to send your customers to other yards to pick slabs. How many times have you sent customers to a yard and another fabricator hands them a business card. 3. Having your customers see slabs will allow them to “up-sell” themselves on slabs they see. For example, you sell a base Ubatuba kitchen and they see Labrador Madagascar and just “have to have it”. They may have just doubled the price of the job all by themselves. 4. It allows you to have another chance to upgrade edgings, etc. 5. By having in house stock, it gives you an image of a larger company, and will also build more trust with builders, etc. who want to do business with you. What we do. 1. We provide you material on a 90 day consignment term. We will supply you with a container or two of material for you to have on your property to sell and use. We will supply you with more once good credit has been established. 2. We have metal A-frames available for purchase in order for you to store and display the slabs.  We have to protect our material and can not leave them on wooden frames. 3. We will help with the layout and design of your yard to maximize space and sales. 4. We usually inventory your slabs every 7 to 14 days, which is when you will be required to pay for the slabs that have been used. You may have a customer tag slabs and not cut it for 2 or 3 weeks, that’s ok, you only pay for the slabs once it’s missing from inventory! 6. Once a relationship is established, we will schedule a regular shipment to keep you stocked with material. How to get started. 1. Fill out our credit application, confidentiality agreement, and consignment agreement. 2. Ad Discount Stone Importers to your insurance binder and have insurance company fax us a copy. 3. Wait for our approval. 4. Pick out the colors you would like to order. 5. We will have stock you as soon as the stone arrives. 6. Save! Save! Save!
